Amy Recalde

Oscar Recalde is the founder and creative principal of O!Communications, a branding and consulting firm in Fairfield, CT, which helps organizations grow their businesses and thrive in today’s fast-changing markets

Founded as a boutique agency in 1994, O!Communications’ underlying mission has always been to help clients ‘be seen.’

Mr. Recalde’s experience covers a broad range of industries, and his solutions have been seen recognized nationally, and internationally. He has provided unique and creative problem-solving for blue-chip companies such as Citibank, IBM, Pitney- Bowes, Oracle, Intuit, Ogilvy & Mather, and Bates Advertising Worldwide.

Mr Recalde attended Florida State University, where he received a BFA in Visual Communications. He continues his lifetime passion of helping bring products to market through creative branding and spot-on product visibility.

He resides in Fairfield, CT with his wife Amy, and 2 children, He is extremely active in community service, follows a passion for modern architecture — and runs marathons, ‘just for fun.’

Prior to launching O!Communications, Mr. Recalde honed his skills working on Madison Avenue in NY, working for some of the world’s leading ad agencies; including Compton, DMB&B (Darcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles), Grey Advertising, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Waring & LaRosa.

For over 15 years he created award-winning advertising, in addition to designing collateral and direct mail, packaging and corporate identity work for clients such as: General Foods, Pitney-Bowes, Proctor & Gamble, Fisher-Price, Montblanc USA, Perrier, TRW, Heublein Spirits, MCI, United Way, and the US Air Force. Additionally, he garnered extensive experience in television and film production, shooting dozens of TV commercials, primarily on the West Coast, with some of Hollywood’s most experienced production crews.

With over 25 years of innovative thinking, Oscar always enthusiastically embraces his clients’ communications challenges as his own. Emphasis on product intelligence and market knowledge is behind every communication, and has earned him awards from The Art Director’s Club, Print Magazine, Communication Arts, Creativity, and The International Advertising Festival. He is also the recipient of a Gold ADDY.
